Lightweight, stretchy tech shorts
We wanted women’s technical sailing shorts that would carry us through the summer, and the Chesapeake Short fits the bill. Made of a lightweight but tough nylon, these shorts are moisture-wicking and quick dry for active days on the water. And they’re super stretchy, letting you move around the boat in comfort. The inner waistband is lined with a soft peached fabric that feels good next to your skin and adds a pop of contrasting color. Two deep zippered pockets hold all your essentials, and a solid metal D-ring is a handy place to clip on your sailing knife or gloves. With tapered legs and our signature striped zipper, the Chesapeake short ups the style quotient while still delivering on performance.

Care Instructions
Machine wash warm and tumble dry with low heat. For best results, don’t use bleach or fabric softeners. Iron on low heat if needed. Do not dry clean.
The Chesapeake Short fits true to size. Compared to our Oyster Bay Short, the Chesapeake Short is a bit straighter through the hips and waist. It’s also slightly shorter in length, and can be easily hemmed. The material has quite a bit of give so allow for some stretch. Refer to the chart below for exact measurements. Measurements are in inches with the garment laying flat.
Tip: measure a piece of your current clothing that fits you well, and use those numbers as guide to find your best fit.
