Size Guide

We know fit is important to you – after all, we started 12° West because it was hard to find sailing gear that fit well on a woman’s body. So all of our styles are designed from the ground up to fit real, active women. Cut and fit will vary slightly between styles; check the Sizing tab on each product page for details. There you’ll find actual measurements for each style and size.

Tip: if you have a piece of clothing with a fit you like, measure it and use those numbers as a guide to find your size.


When you place an order, you’ll receive an immediate email confirmation from our Customer Care team. We strive to process and ship all orders within 1 business day of receipt. Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive an email letting you know your purchase is on its way.

We ship worldwide by USPS or UPS, depending on your location. Your items will generally arrive 5-7 business days after your order is processed, or up to 14 days for international addresses. If you need expedited shipping, contact our Customer Care Team.

Within the U.S., shipping is a flat fee of $10 per shipment. If you’re in the NYC area, you have the option of having your gear delivered locally for FREE! Plug in your zip code at checkout to see if you’re eligible and to select this delivery option.

For international orders, you’ll pay the actual shipping fee. Use the shipping calculator at checkout to select your option. Please note that customs clearance is different in every country, and you may be charged additional fees, duties or tariffs in addition to the shipping charges. Payment of any duties and taxes is your responsibility, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery. More information can be obtained by contacting your local customs office.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to love our clothes, and understand that you may need to try them on to find your best fit. We will gladly accept unworn items for exchange or refund within 15 days of receipt, and we’ll even pay for return shipping (for U.S. orders only). Just make sure the item is unworn and tags are still attached.

To initiate a return or exchange, use the link below. Upon receipt of your return or exchange request, we’ll email a return label for your use. After we’ve received your return items and verified their condition, we’ll issue a refund of the purchase price to your original form of payment, minus a 5% administrative fee to cover our credit card processing costs. Please note that the administrative fee applies only to returns; there is no administrative fee for an exchange. Shipping costs are not refundable.

Custom & Team Orders
