It feels right to sail on July 4th, the American Independence Day. To me, sailing represents a form of freedom. On a boat, it’s somehow easier to be free of worry and care, free of restraints, free of boundaries. Granted, not every day on a boat is a picnic. But it’s the one place I feel more zen than anywhere else. Happy 4th and happy sailing everyone!
